Two children injured on Queen Street by shattered glass from building
Two children have been injured by shattered glass from an awning, after a woman fell from a building in Brisbane’s CBD.
If you or anyone you know needs help:
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) attended the scene on Queen Street, near Customs House.
The woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
A QAS spokesman said two children under 10 years of age suffered cuts from the falling glass.
They have been taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital at South Brisbane in a stable condition.
A witness told the ABC he saw the children sitting on the bench underneath the awning and called triple-0.
Police have closed Queen Street near Eagle Street.
More to come.
