Two teenagers have been seriously injured after being struck by a car that hit a traffic island before ploughing into them in Perth yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Morrison Road near the intersection of Farrall Road, in Midvale, at 6:30pm.
A blue BMW SUV struck a traffic island and hit three boys, police said.
A 16-year-old and 15-year-old were rushed to Royal Perth Hospital. A 12-year-old boy escaped harm.
The driver, a 48-year-old man from nearby Jane Brook, was not injured in the incident.
Police are asking witnesses to get in touch — including the occupants of a dark-coloured ute who are believed to have stopped the BMW on nearby Orchard Avenue in Midvale.
They also want to speak with anyone who saw the blue BMW or the boys before the crash.
