‘Structures destroyed’ in NSW blazes

Authorities have confirmed a ‘number of structures’ have been destroyed as bushfires burn near Tingha and Tabulam in northern NSW. The Rural Fire Service is battling the pair near Tingha and Tabulam that have been upgraded to an emergency level, fuelled by strong winds. The fire burning in the Tingha area is spreading quickly in multiple directions, while the blaze near Tabulam has seen an increase in activity across the western edge of the fire. Both blazes have burned through a combined 10,000 hectares of bushland. Image: Twitter / @robrfs
