Click here for further information on our Commitment to Child Safety: The Role: The Senior Social Worker in the Medical Stream provides Social Work assessment and intervention to inpatients and outpatients of RCH and their families, and supervision/clinical leadership to a number of other Social Workers working in General Medical and other units. The role is full time, fixed term until 01/12/19 and involves participation in the out of hours on call roster. To be successful in this role you will have:
- An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- 7 years’ experience, including experience in paediatric health or a closely related field of practice
