We are currently recruiting for a Senior Sales Finance Partner for a maternity leave contract. Reporting to the Sales Finance Manager this position will see be a business partner with our Pharmacy Sales Channel leading all Gross-to-Net/Gross Margin optimization initiatives, sales finance ownership for the Channel and annual plan budgeting.
You will provide comprehensive finance information and analysis to the Sales Finance Manager, Head of Grocery, Head of Pharmacy as well as our National Account and Business Managers to support all aspects of commercial decision marking to deliver strong business results. marketing Directors, Managers and GSK’s ANZ Leadership team to support effective decision making to deliver strong business results.
Responsibilities will include:
•First Finance point of contact for Pharmacy Customer Teams
•To develop & present analysis of performance and key issues at relevant forecast meetings and Channel Sales reviews
•Provide commercial decision support, employing advanced analytical methods and modeling techniques across a range of systems (CERPS BI, TSM, Nielsen, IMS etc.) to create business models. Present analysis of financial data
•Lead the financial customer account profitability process with Channel Managers and National Account Managers, pro-actively reviewing monthly reporting, financial variance analysis (actuals vs forecast & budget) and preparing commentary
•Provide Trade Spend / Net Sales inputs into the Consensus Forecast process to ensure decisions prioritise cost effective, net sales delivery
•Assist the Head of Pharmacy with the identification and assessment of sales gap closing opportunities as required
•Drive continuous improvements in analysis, promotional spend decisions & business processes
•Efficient management of month end processes and preparation of Customer P&L reporting.
•Partner with Finance team to manage Trade Spend Allowances for total Sales team.
•Build & maintain strong working relationships with cross functional teams. Identify opportunities, risks and issues and their financial implications; suggest solutions and actively participate in implementation
•Work closely with National Business Managers in evaluation of joint business plans with the trade
•Responsibility for accurate and timely completion of trade spend reviews & relevant variances analysis commentary for ANZ TSM Controller
You will have:
•CA/CPA- Qualified Accountant
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•High attention to detail and accuracy
•Extensive experience in financial analysis and business modelling
•High computer skills and the ability to learn quickly and learn new systems and processes
•SAP experience essential and experience with Bison and IPT is desirable
