Project Manager – Rail Design Engineering | Architecture / Construction / Civil Engineering

The Role

The Project Manager / As-Built Manager will be based on Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project (CTD) based the Project Office in a South East Melbourne location. The role requires someone with strong organisational skills with a good understanding of Mutli-disciplined Major Project Construction Phase works

You may be a seasoned professional with prior experience in a role similar to this or a younger engineer looking to further their career in the Project Management field. Either way this is a great opportunity to work on one of Melbourne’s most iconic rail Projects this century.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Liaise with MTM to close out LXRG As-Built review comments and run workshops if required

Review draft AB drawings for PTV compliance, completeness and consistency

Manage drawing dispensation requests, apply for drawing dispensations, organise and attend drawing dispensation

Prepare and maintain tools to Track and report As-Built Drawing Progress from receipt to delivery

Plan and co-ordinate Construction phase design and drafting resources to meet delivery workload

Track Package Completion and Issue to Doc Control for Issue to LXRG / Asset Owner for Review

Prepare responses to procedural LXRG As-Built review comments

Compile Signed Pdfs, Final CAD Files, Prepare Book-In-Form. Save all in PW and issue to Doc Controller

With Assistance from As- Built Admin Support – Coordinate, track and distribute LXRG review comments on draft As-Builts


Good understanding of multi-disciplined Major Projects and the drawing documentation associated with them.

Excellent Organisational skills and working knowledge of Project management and reporting techniques

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and negotiate successful oCompanyomes for Clients/project teams.

Prior experience managing a team and showing leadership capabilities.
