Police search bushland after reports of ultralight plane crash in Western Australia
Police are searching bushland after reports of an ultralight plane crash in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region.
Witnesses first reported seeing a blue and red, fixed-wing light aircraft with a front propeller fly over their property with engine issues about 1:30pm on Saturday.
According to witnesses, the plane went down in the vicinity of Clarke Road at Neergabby, about 80 kilometres north-east of Perth.
Police said they had not found any signs of the plane or wreckage and are conducting aerial searches of the area.
No planes have been reported missing.
