Pointnext is currently recruiting for a highly energetic & motivated Sales Manager for our Northern Region to be based in Sydney. This role will report into the overall Pointnext General Manager of Australia & New Zealand. This primary responsibility of this role will mentor, nurture, motivate & manage a high performing team of Services Sales Specialists to ultimately achieve & exceed the teams Orders Quota. As the Sales Manager, you will ensure that there is a strong sales pipeline of qualified deals, drive sales thorough proactively establishing strong relationships with key IT & business executive’s, focusing on senior business management challenges & strategies, while acting as the go to person for assisting with getting deals qualified & across the line. Key Responsibilities:-

  • Drive business growth & increase HPE Pointnext market share & revenue
  • Build clear strategies for working with key accounts to pursue & close major opportunities
  • Manage & ensure consistency in sales hygiene across the team around call plans, SFDC updates, close plans, etc…
  • Establish professional relationships & credibility with key customer IT & business executives
  • Build & develop a high-performing sales team. Coach individuals through managing change, selling challenges while actively managing performance & results
  • Prepare for client calls/meetings in partnership with Sales Specialist & support the efforts of the team during client meetings
  • Accurately compile & communicate sales forecasts & progress against forecasts
  • Maximise revenue by critically assessing deal viability, participating directly in complex sales negotiations & resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs & monitor their preferences.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues & customer complaints regarding sales & service.
  • Work closely with other business units within HPE to maximise business outcomes
  • Understand industry drivers & the customer base better to bridge Pointnext solutions with account-relevant problems & opportunities

To be further considered, you will possess the following:-

  • 10 years + IT sales experience with a minimum of 5 years working as a Sales Manager
  • Successful experience building a territory from little or nothing
  • Demonstrated working knowledge & success in IT services & solutions essential
  • Proven track record in managing sales teams to achieve quotas & other sales-related goals
  • Have highly developed business acumen & negotiation skills
  • High energy with excellent presentation & written & verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals as an individual contributor
  • Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, & understanding business requirements of senior decision makers
