Pilot escapes serious injury after Kosciuszko National Park helicopter crash



A 45-year-old pilot has escaped serious injury after the helicopter he was flying crashed in the Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales. A doctor and a paramedic were dropped by chopper at the scene of the crash and are tending to the man – who is suffering head lacerations. A rescue helicopter will attempt to winch the man to safety shortly. It is expected he will be taken by helicopter to Canberra Hospital.
