The purpose of the role National Manager Service Operations IT Security is to drive operational performance across all IT services within the Security domain to meet nbn business outcomes and objectives. This role will act as an operational account manager for the Chief Security Officer and lead the teams performing the service assurance and application support for this set of platforms. The National Manager Service Operations IT Security also owns the IT Security Operations Management process and is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of security management are being performed appropriately across IT Service Operations, including Information Risk management, key control effectiveness testing, patching, access management etc. To achieve this, the National Manager Service Operations IT Security will work closely with customer stakeholders to understand operational requirements, resolve issues and ensure a high level of service. The role ensures that work effort and resources are focussed on areas of business priority. In doing all of the above, the National Manager SEO Service Operations – IT Security brings best practice to nbn IT by leveraging a strong technical background and external/industry perspectives. A bit about your role Outlined below are the core duties that the National Manager Service Operations IT Security will be responsible for delivering: Work with key business stakeholders to define business services and associated SLA’s. Develop and maintain partner relationships to provide operational services to optimate delivery/operational efficiency, capacity and value. Manage a cross functional nbn and partner operational team to ensure the required business outcomes from business unit interactions with nbn IT systems from a Service Management perspective. Deliver the required security outcomes for all nbn systems, addressing security issues proactively and effectively. Develop and execute a continuous improvement program to measure the performance of the service providers and design improvements to processes and services. Recruit, develop and performance manage individuals to create an effective high performance culture to meet required business outcomes. Support the broader IT transformation agenda and drive change within area. A bit about you The successful candidate will likely display a significant track record operating at a Senior Management level within both operational and security functions as part of a large, corporate organisation or consultancy. You will have managed large scale operations centres, with an extensive record of IT service delivery management experience. From a leadership perspective you will demonstrate a proven ability in managing large-scale teams and creating of culture of high performance and engagement. With clear communication you will be capable of delivery succinct messages to both direct staff and associated stakeholders, building effective relationships with the relevant internal and external personnel. Furthermore, you will possess experience of commercial and financial management in relation to contract implementations, reviewal of invoices and IT budgeting forecasts. Alongside management of operational 24*7 operational support models via SLAs and KPIs.
