Motorist finds body of teenage boy on road near Wagga Wagga

Police in south-west New South Wales are searching a roadside east of Wagga Wagga, after a boy’s body was found by a passing driver early this morning.
Police say a motorist noticed the body on the River Road at Wantabadgery, about 40 kilometres east of Wagga Wagga, about 1:30am this morning.
They say the driver pulled over to help, discovering the body was that of a teenage boy.
A crime scene has now been established and police say inquiries are underway to confirm the identity of the body.
Police said the officers from the Crash Investigation Unit would look into the circumstances of the boy’s death and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
