Melbourne police find man dead at Altona home
Police are speaking to two people after a man was found dead in suspicious circumstances at a house in Melbourne’s west overnight.

- Police are speaking to a man and a woman
- No charges have been laid
Homicide squad detectives have this morning been examining evidence from a property in Altona, including a door with what appeared to be bloodstains on it.
Officers were also speaking to a man and a woman, a Victoria Police statement said.
“Police attended at the Civic Parade home about 11:20pm where a man was found deceased inside a house,” the statement said.
“A man and a woman are assisting police with their enquiries.
“Police are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death and the investigation is ongoing.”
Neighbours this morning told the ABC the area was quiet, and they did not see or hear anything suspicious during the night.
No other information has been released.
