Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe could be out of Brownlow contention after one-week AFL suspension
Updated
Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe has been hit with a one-match suspension for his crude forearm to the head of Collingwood’s Levi Greenwood.
Unless Fyfe is able to have the sanction overturned at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night he will be out of contention for a second Brownlow Medal.
North Melbourne youngster Jy Simpkin was issued with a two-match ban for rough conduct against Brisbane’s Allan Christensen, while Richmond defender Alex Rance was fined $1000 for staging for a free kick.
More to come.
