Four pedestrians hit by car in Melbourne CBD

Four pedestrians, including two children, have been hit by a car and injured in a two-car collision in Melbourne’s CBD.

The cars collided on William Street near the Latrobe Street intersection at about 3:45pm in what police are treating as an accidental crash.

Police said one of the cars lost control and struck the pedestrians, causing serious but non-life-threatening injuries to one adult.

A second adult and two children were being treated for minor injuries.
