A large fire has engulfed a gas cylinder factory in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
Aerial video of the blaze at the Kilsyth supplier on Canterbury Road shows the roof caving-in.
Several cars parked nearby caught on fire.
A Country Fire Authority (CFA) spokesman said witnesses reported seeing explosions and an exclusion zone has been set up around the factory, fearing gas cylinders could explode.
There are 17 CFA and Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) fire trucks are at the scene, with more on the way.
Nearby businesses, including a cabinet maker, have been evacuated.
There is no current threat to the community.
More to come.
