F1 Australia Grand Prix live qualifying results, who is on pole? Grid order. Daniel Ricciardo penalty

NO-ONE is any clearer on the qualifying order after the final practice session ahead of the Australian Grand Prix.

The previous pace-setter, Lewis Hamilton, was only eighth as the Ferrari pair – Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen – topped the times.

But the smart money is still on another pole at Albert Park for Hamilton, with Ricciardo looking for the best possible slot before the application of the three-place grid penalty he scored for speeding.

And the normally-affable Aussie was none too happy about it, telling Channel 10 on Saturday, saying he was still “pissed” at the ruling.

“Is it worth a grid penalty?” Ricciardo said. “I think common sense should have prevailed. I think it’s s***house.”
