At DS Psychology Group we are a busy practice providing counselling services to the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. However due to interest and demand we have also been providing neuropsychological assessments over the past 2 years and this service has steadily grown. As a result we have a need for an additional Clinical Neuropsychologist to conduct neuropsychological assessments on a sessional basis. This role would suit someone who would like to do private assessment work primarily for adult clients, initially about 3 assessments per month, with the possibility of increasing over time. There is also the option of conducting counselling/implementation sessions for a range of clients and therefore enjoy both the benefits of assessment and counselling. Position Requirements: Clinical Neuropsychologist for adults · Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia · Post graduate qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (Masters, DPsych, Phd) · Be able to offer a minimum of two half days fortnightly (day, evening or Saturday morning) · Ability to conduct neuropsychological assessments with a range of referral questions (decision making and cognitive/memory capacity) · Liaise with caregivers and consumers to promote effective assessment and follow up · Ability to select appropriate psychometric tests, preparation of reports and treatment recommendations (including feedback session) · Experience in mental health settings an advantage but not essential · Also an opportunity to do children assessments if desired · Commitment to self-reflection and ongoing enhancement of clinical practice Contact Details Please submit applications including cover letter and CV attention to Sharon Anderson and Donna Di Campli to .
